Survival Mode Mod Makes Left 4 Dead Like Dawn of the Dead

In true Dawn of the Dead fashion, the Survival Mode mod created by Doku will limit killing zombies to mostly headshots. Now that’s something out of a George Romero flick where the only proper way to dispose of a zombie is to blow its brains out. Survival mode also changes a number of gameplay mechanics to increase the difficulty level as well adding more tension to the overall experience. Hit the link for more details.

The much anticipated patch for the popular multiplayer zombie shooter, Left 4 Dead ,is now downloadable and will be applied automatically through Steam for PC users. The patch update addresses a number of issues and exploits that will surely keep the glitchers at a minimum. One particular exploit I’m surely going to miss is the one that would catapult me up into the air after hiting the mini-gun a number of times. Hit the link for the full patch details.
