Over at the Crymod forum, a modder known as Atsest attempts to recreate the infamous 2005 CG rendered trailer of Killzone 2 using the CryEngine 2. But this isn’t a frame by frame and scene by scene reimagining of the trailer, there’s a lot of actual gameplay involved.
If you think you’re the hardest of the hardcore and can take on any amounts of beefed up zombies, tanks, witches, smokers and hunters without breaking a sweat then you will definitely have a grand time with this L4D mod. It raises the difficulty by two folds.

The mod community of Fallout 3 is beginning to blossom with a number of outstanding mods. Probably leading the bunch is this excellent new mod that adds the Global Travel System map feature from Fallout 1 and 2. Given the awesome breakthroughs of some of the Fallout 3 mods, I wouldn’t be surprised if a modder made a Team fortress 2 mod set in the Fallout universe. In true Dawn of the Dead fashion, the Survival Mode mod created by Doku will limit killing zombies to mostly headshots. Now that’s something out of a George Romero flick where the only proper way to dispose of a zombie is to blow its brains out.
