Slow transition for a fast-paced gamer RAWR!
Written by Asaki VidelIts been a while since I gave my brother the 360. Thing of the matter is that the graphics are getting kinda weak (Which is why I’m focused on getting a PS3)… or maybe I’m just picky… I’ve had my share of regrets, especially after seeing Gears of War 2. I kinda miss being a console gamer.
We’re actually thinking about selling the Wii. Especially since we cant really play anything other than Super Smash Bros Brawl. I know, the Wii is probably the most innovative shit of all time but hell it gets old. It made me feel like a child cheated into buying expensive candy. The Wii is not a gaming console… its an exercise machine! I didn’t even bother saving my game in Zelda cause 15 minutes later I was already pissed at how retarded I look while swinging the wii-mote. The Wii isn’t a console for serious gamers, its a casual console hellbent on giving you party games and leaves you behind when everyone is gone.
The 360 and the Ps3 are still fun to play even if you don’t have any friends or if you’re just a nerd stuck at home having sex with barbie dolls
). Fact of the matter is that I think I just bashed the Wii too much so lets move on (LOL).
I’m stuck with commission jobs and I cant seem to free myself from the clutches of work. And although I’m using the PC that caters all of my games, its still quite hard to find a way to play games without harassing myself with overdue projects.
Fact to remember:
Left 4 dead + Pressure = Happy moments

If you’re going to go console, I suggest you stick with the PS3. While the 360′s library is superior thanks to exclusives like Gears, Dead Rising, or Halo 3, you can’t go wrong with the PS3 hardware’s reliability. Besides, you can’t say that Sony’s system is lacking games–it’s catching up very rapidly with exclusives like LBP, Resistance, and Gran Turismo, among others.
And this bit about the PS3 being more expensive? Bollocks.
Sa dalas ng punta mo sa EYO for repairs ng 360 (*cough RRoD cough*) for like 3k a pop and a lot of asinine accessories like a cooler, you’d be spending more in the long run kesa pag naka PS3 ka. And take note, hindi nadadala sa alaga ang 360. RRoD is inevitable.
My PS3 is over a year old, and I’ve been subjecting it numerous gaming marathons. The platform has a shitload of games and I don’t know which one to get first. I get to save too because I rent, so tipid.

I agree! The PS3 is quite underestimated by those who think of it as a more expensive 360. I would have to disagree there. our 360 had to undergo 3 repairs to keep on going. I mean yeah microsoft has its perks. pero I think that the PS3 will still have the edge. Its just that its gonna have a problem dealing with the economic crisis

Last time I checked, a 40GB PS3 (Satin Silver) costs 17k at “GameStop” (top floor, VMall). If you have the cash, go for it. Kung gusto mo ng credit card, it’s 18k–still not bad. This was like 6 months ago, so it could be lower. And I think may libreng games pa, mga dalawa.
GameStop? LOL. Ripoff talaga tayo.
But you can always wait. Analysts say there’s going to be an impending price cut for PS3s around March next year so it could get even cheaper. I couldn’t wait for mine, so I got one last December at 20k. Yes, I’m kind of a dumbass, but I couldn’t wait hehe.

LOL! yeah waiting for the price cut as well… ang hirap na kasi ng constant upgrades. Anyway, Great idea. I’ll browse VirraMall for a cheaper deal. hopefully meron
