Halo 3: ODST(Recon)

Formerly known as Halo 3: Recon, Halo ODST is the first Halo game that doesnt feature Master Chief. Instead, players take the role of a lone UNSC Soldier known as the “Rookie”. Unlike its previews installments, the new Halo was said to be a bit more gloomy and less cartoony. I guess Master Chief is just technically a living super hero since normal people see everything in a whole new different way. I mean ‘Come on man!’ who the fuckin hell wouldn’t be afraid of those sharky faces and plant like creatures?
Other reports say that the game is a lot more bloodier than its predecessors. Kinda like putting Gears of War in Halo. Just when you thought the Halo saga was over… here comes the rookie!
The game is still a first person shooter though others claim it to be an over the shoulder type. The game’s timeline is synchronized with the events in Halo 2 where the lone Rookie was separated from his team and was forced to find out what happened to them. The plot may be simple but it could probably stretch out to a lot of possibilities. One thing at a time man! You’re not a green armored super human soldier!
Something to know:
YOU ARE NOT MASTER CHIEF- You no longer have his super human abilities and his super kickass armor. You’ll be a bit more vulnerable than you used to be so be careful when you’re in the middle of the battlefield. Still, I think this game is quite brilliant. I guess the only thing we have to worry about is whether the game lives up to the hype or not.
The game is said to be released this 2009. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
